winter wonderland theme…please help me?

im doin a weekend getaway in mid december (my bf just booked the room) and i want to do something really cute to decorate the hotel room. im sending him away from the hotel for a few hours so i can set up..im getting blue and white balloons and i found little lights that actually go inside the balloons to give them a cool glow, im looking into getting a mini cake made for us and getting some champagne. i want to make the whole room as winter wonderland (sexy not cutesy) as possible..does anyone have any ideas? i want to go ALL out for this!! i also found big glass “ice” cubes at a crafts store that i thought might look good..any thoughts or suggestions welcome

Sounds like fun! Hmm. Well let’s see. Here is what I would add: a CD player with Nat King Cole singing “Chestnuts Roasting”…; Some blue and pastel glittered cards strung over the mantel; a few snacks; Some really nice stockings to hang by the fire; A white plush rug… there is a great throw one at Target; Maybe one of those cute pastel light up trees… you know the small ones…decorated just the way you want of course…and don’t forget his favorite NFL ornament; .. and some good movies for when you … i mean if… you get some time to relax.
