Job Interview & Need Time Off?

I have a job interview at Michael’s craft store today. I’m assuming it MIGHT be seasonal although it was never mentioned. I am willing to work as many hours they will give me, but the problem is I’m going away for the holidays! I’m gonna be gone for almost two weeks starting December 21st. If I tell them will they deny me the job? If I don’t tell them what’s gonna happen? What is the best time to tell them?

Well that’s a considerable time so it could affect you getting hired but if you don’t tell them then you probably won’t have a reference in the future once you spring it on them. Thats during the period they generally hire for seasonal so I’m sure they wouldn’t be happy and you’d probably be putting them in a tough position.
