Hello! I nanny for three children, ages 4, 4 and 7. No school tomorrow and I thought I would pass day to make Halloween crafts. Any ideas on something that will last and not end up in the trash? Here are some brief instructions on how to make fabric flowers, but first let me begin by saying how it all started.

Last December, my colleagues and I went to the mall to buy gifts for our loved ones at Christmas. All ended up buying fashionable purses store. Personally, I wanted to do inside my wife stand out from others in some way and not looks like everyone else. I thought about this for a few days later, after I had a wonderful idea. Some of the things my wife's favorite store fabric and the flower shop. It takes a bit of cloth, a piece of felt, some thread (preferably the same color), some fabric glue (optional) and a template (this is the design pattern that is drawn on the canvas) where to draw the outline for you, have someone do it for you or find on the Internet and beyond print. The only tools you need scissors, needle, button (this is used to hide the stitches), and a pin back.

The first step is to use the scissors to cut the number of flowers needed (indicated on the template) on their website. Use the dotted line to cut into each flower.

Next, take the pattern of two large flowers and neatly stacked on each other. Fold in half, then lay the smaller flowers at the top of most flowers, overlapping.

Then use the needle and thread to make stitches in the center to contain all the petals together. Now, attach the button over the stitches with the remaining thread from the past.

Finally, cut a circular piece of felt and secure the pin back into the felt and then sew the felt that the center of the back of the flower.

You can use a little glue fabric behind the felt for more security.

I have to say that I stupidly tried making my first flower on the pocket book and made a mess of fabric flower and then had to buy another pocket book. Ay! I think he was anxious to get it done on time and my better sense eluded me. I learned my lesson and I recommend you practice a bit on some paper or cheap cloth first. However, I ended up doing well and went very well.
