Anyone know African popular holiday / festival / celebration?

I'll teach a short class for elementary students on various celebrations around the world. We will "celebrate" with a luau Hawaiian Fiesta Mexican, Chinese New Year, etc. I would like present them to a special party / celebration / festival that is popular, somewhere in Africa, but got really frustrated with the Internet looking for a (further propose Kwanzaa). The class will probably include a popular food during the celebration, some natives of the music in the country, crafts and games, possibly, or dances that take place during the celebration. Any suggestions would be welcome
